Easter Events at Lake Tahoe
Whether you ski or snowboard, or not, there’s still plenty of things to do and see during the Easter holiday at Lake Tahoe, and all season long! Here’s list of some of the fun activities that await you and your family’s Easter vacation at Lake Tahoe.
Diamond Peak, Incline Village, NV:
The big egg hunt starts right when the lifts open at 9:00 a.m., so you’ll want to get here early. Eggs are hidden all over the mountain, including golden eggs filled with special prizes. (Participants must have a valid lift ticket or season pass.) Make it an extra-special holiday and join Tahoe Ministries at 2:00 at the top of Lakeview Lift for a “lake view” Easter Sunday service!
Don’t miss this resort’s Easter events that include a 5,000+ Easter Egg Dash, photos with the Easter Bunny, live music and a Jelly Bean contest.
Squaw Valley – Alpine Meadows, Tahoe City, CA
Celebrate Easter Sunday in true spring fashion. Take the aerial tram ride up to High Camp for a Sunrise Service with a continental breakfast and enjoy the Easter Egg Hunt at either Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows. Adventure out to the long-standing Beacon & Eggs event to learn the basics of avalanche awareness while searching for Easter Eggs filled with lucky prizes! This annual all day Easter celebration is set (rain, snow or sunshine) for April 15 and starts at 8:00 a.m. and continues until 5:00 p.m. on the edge of Lake Tahoe. From games, to music, poses with the Easter Bunny, and of course, the famous Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt on the beach makes this a ‘must-do’ for families living in or visiting the Tahoe City area.
